This section collects selected academic and independent engineering work. Detailed case studies are currently being prepared; each will document the problem, method, results and lessons learned rather than presenting screenshots without context.
Flow measurement through pipe vibrations
Research into estimating internal fluid flow from vibration signals measured externally on a pipe. The project combines fluid mechanics, structural dynamics, experimental measurement and signal analysis.
Two-degree-of-freedom vibration model
Analytical and numerical study of a coupled mechanical system, including natural frequencies, mode shapes and dynamic response.
Finite-element analysis of a two-dimensional truss
Development of a 2D finite-element solver in GNU Octave, validated against SolidWorks results for displacement, stress and factor of safety.
Venturi and Bernoulli experiment
Experimental study of pressure, velocity, volumetric flow rate and energy losses through a Venturi tube.
