This project develops a two-dimensional truss finite-element solver in GNU Octave and compares its displacement, stress and factor-of-safety results with a SolidWorks model.
Project status
The complete case study is being prepared. It will cover the formulation, implementation, verification process and interpretation of the differences between both models.
